What Happened to the MLB.

in In 1994, the Major league baseball player, coaches and everyone else went on strike because they thought they weren't getting paid enough. They lost a lot of money when they where on. they lost about $2.38 million when on strike for 232 days. There was no Collective Bargaining Agreement.  It expired on 12/31/1993. The owners wanted a salary cap. The players didn't want that at all. there was no Commissioner because the owner fired Fay Vincent in September 1992. The 1994 season for baseball was the 8th work stoppage in baseball history. The owners sold a salary cap to the financial situation.

He said that since the 1994 strike, players are acting more and more irresponsible. The big issue is steriod. He called it a "Steriod Era."  Later in my website, you find people who where involved, the protest methods, outcome of them, ect.
